Executive/ Assistant Manager, Windows Programmer, Information Technology

Responsibilities:

  • To monitor, support and enhance stock broking equity markets
  • Nominees Back Office system to ensure system operates effectively to support our users and customers
  • Integrates well with all the internal and external interfaces systems

Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 ; Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Seagate Crystal Report 8 is a must
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years work experience in the IT industry with at least 2 years experience in programming
  • Experience in Stockbroking / Share Trading is an added advantage
  • Must possess excellent written and spoken English
  • Willing to be on-call to provide prompt escalation support during non-office hours
 
Senior Executive/Manager, Compliance

Responsibilities:

This role requires the candidates to have an acceptable level of understanding of the capital market products and services and the function of an investment bank in order to assist the Department Head in monitoring the relevant compliance program undertaken by the business units within Maybank Investment Bank Berhad Group to:-
  • Provide advice, guidance, clarification and awareness to the Management and the Business Units in Malaysia as well as Overseas’ Affiliates on the regulatory requirements in relation to various investment banking products and activities
  • Provide independent assessment and reviews on the relevant Business Units’ activities and processes pursuant to the regulatory requirements and internal procedures
  • Identify compliance issues in corporate proposals prepared by the business units to be submitted to the relevant authorities for approvals
  • Review the level of due diligence conducted by the relevant business units during client or business engagement process
  • Update or establish new compliance policies and procedures in line with new development of the capital market, where applicable
  • Conduct research and interpret rules, laws, guidelines, regulations and policies relevant to the investment banking activities effectively
  • Liaise with the authorities to gain understanding and clarification on compliance-related matters
  • Run the day-to-day administration of the Unit

Requirements:

  • All confirmed executives in Maybank Group who are currently in BG51 to Band G grade
  • A recognised Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Professional business qualification
  • At least 5 years experience in investment banking activities or investment banking compliance-related operations
  • Good understanding of the capital market and investment banking products and services;
  • Have good command of Bahasa Melayu and English both written and spoken;
  • Prior experience in one or more of the following areas will be an added advantage:
    • Foreign capital market regulations and activities, and
    • Handling cross-border transactions compliance matters
